For the follow-up to his hugely popular debut album, Miloš Karadaglic has leapt eagerly into the full breadth of Latin American music, which he considers the heartland of classical Spanish guitar music throughout the last century.
Mingling the familiar with the technically exacting, it's a programme designed to showcase both Miloš's skills and his natural flamboyance. The latter is almost casually evident in his poised delivery of standards like Osvaldo Farrés' "Quizàs, Quizàs, Quizàs", Villa-Lobos's classic "Prelude No 1" and Carlos Gardel's "Por una Cabeza", the courtly tango from Scent of a Woman, while the delicate trills of Mangoré's "Un Sueño en la Floresta", like an insect skating across water, confirm his featherlight command of his instrument.
