It's summer time, the nights are cool and clubland is buzzing with punters looking to enjoy the long summer nights.

If you're willing to travel to where the vibes are then Milton Keynes may be the place for you this weekend. Tomorrow 2000AD productions present their latest manifestation: Desire 95. Building on the successes of previous drum and bass events of the same name, Desire 95 promises to be larger than any previous offerings.

Those in the know may recall the Desire gigs at The Rocket , north London. A reputation for trouble-free gigs has been earned over the years and it's one that the 2000AD crew is committed to preserving. "It's important to us that the punters can come into a hassle-free environment," explains Mick, one of the promoters. "We try to give something back to the members who pay their money and follow us around the country. It starts with visuals [giant inflatables in addition to state of the art lighting effects] and goes down to the bouncers. If someone has a problem, or needs some info, security are there to help."

If the possibility of witnessing an unsurly bouncer isn't intriguing enough then the DJ line-up will spark your interest for real. The line- up reads like a Who's Who on the Jungle tip. Grooverider, Jumping Jack Frost and the legendary Mickey Finn will all be part of this midsummer night dance. Running from 9pm-7am, this should be an all-nighter with a difference.

Desire boasts two dance areas and with 100k of power blasting in the main room your ears should stop ringing around Monday evening. A bar until 2am and an outside, seated cafeteria should satisfy the midnight munchies and there will also be paramedics on site for those of you prone to excess.

With coaches arriving from all over the country, transport shouldn't be a problem. Tickets are pounds 13.50 for members and pounds 16.50 for non-members.

It's going to be massive... dress to sweat.

Desire 95, The Sanctuary Music Arena,

Denbigh Leisure Pk, V7 Saxon St, Bletchley, Milton Keynes (0181-887 0951) Sat 9pm-7am
