DETAILS No 261

IN WHICH painting by which painter can you find these climbers? DETAILS 259 came from Jusepe de Ribera's horrible picture Apollo and Marsyas (1637) - (ie the flaying of; it really doesn't bear thinking about). The painting is in the Museo Nazionale di San Martino, Naples.

The first three correct entries drawn were from: Mrs Sarah Buriak of Amersham, Bucks; Joan and Mike Brocklebank of Burnley, Lancs; and Oliver Perry of Enfield.
