IN WHICH painting by which painter can you find these reading materials?

DETAILS 261 came from The Tree of Jesse (c 1500?) probably by Jacob Jansz. It depicts Jesus's family tree, showing his supposed descent from the Kings of Israel, via Joseph (the Holy Ghost doesn't come into this picture). The painting is in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.

The first three correct entries drawn were from: A Rosser of Mumbles, West Glamorgan; John Nicol of Manchester; and Susy Croft of London SW11.

Each will receive a bottle of champagne, as will this week's winners. Answers, on a postcard, to: DETAILS 263, Independent on Sunday, 1 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5DL.
