The fourth of this year's Independent / Traverse Conferences, in association with the International Theatre Institute, takes place tomorrow when the playwright Ariel Dorfman talks to Faynia Williams. Since writing his unflinching examination of political torture and reconciliation, Death and the Maiden, Dorfman has been recognised as one of the leading international voices in contemporary theatre.

All conferences in Traverse 2, Cambridge Street (031-228 1404), 10.30am to 11.45am. Tickets are free and available on a first come, first served basis.
