The second of this year's Traverse Theatre / Independent Conferences, which takes place this morning, is a masterclass on making theatre the 'Gloria' way. Neil Bartlett (writer and director), Nicholas Bloomfield (composer) and Simon Mellor (producer) have promised a mysterious 'event', which will take the lid off the process of creating one of the company's visually exquisite, musical shows. Tickets are free and given out on first come, first serve basis: come early, the first conference was packed out.
