Last week's detail was a deliberate tease. It came from Ribera's The Bearded Woman - Magdalena Ventura with Her Husband (1631). This is a strange but - as the painting's inscription and other evidence attest - authentic portrait from the life of a contemporary Neapolitan mother who had acquired a heavy beard. It's in Palacio Lerma, Toledo. The first three correct entries drawn were from: Lily Dorment, of London W11; Norman & Cecilia Pass, of Nelson, Lancashire; and Marie Gwynn, of Stroud, Gloucestershire. Each will receive a bottle of champagne, as will this week's winners. Answers, on a postcard please, to DETAILS 170, The Independent on Sunday, 40 City Road, London EC88 1HP.
