The Stone Breaker by Seurat is one of more than 50 of the artist's works to go on show at the National Gallery's Sainsbury Wing from Wednesday. The exhibition, Seurat and the Bathers, places his masterpiece, Bathers at Asnieres, in the context of his early work, and alongside 30 related pieces by the likes of Monet, Manet and Van Gogh.
