Adam Sandler rejoins fellow actors Kevin James, David Spade and Steve Buscemi from the comedy hit Grown Ups for an animated family comedy, Hotel Transylvania, in the role of Dracula.

According to a release from the studio, the film is about a group of legendary monsters who stay at a five-stake resort (not five-star), where monsters and their families can live it up, free from interference from humans - until a regular person stops for the night.

The voice talents include James as Frankenstein, Spade as Quasimodo, the hunchback of Notre Dame, and Steve Buscemi as a married werewolf who arrives at Hotel Transylvania with a growing litter of pups for a family vacation.

Singer Cee Lo Green joins as Murray the Mummy, who entertained the great Pharaohs.

Hotel Transylvania is scheduled for release September 21, 2012.

In the meantime, Sandler costars in Zookeeper starring Kevin James ( Paul Blart: Mall Cop), giving voice to Donald the Monkey in a comedy about talking animals. This November, he stars in Jack and Jill with Katie Holmes and Al Pacino, about a twin sister who visits and won't leave.
