Based on the Tony Award-winning musical of the same name, the film tells the story of four young men from New York who came together to form the iconic Sixties group The Four Seasons.
The trailer charts the rise of the renowned boy band before changing tone halfway through to reveal the group's seedy past.
The film features a number of their popular songs, including "Sherry", "Big Girls Don't Cry", "Walk Like a Man" and "Bye Bye Baby".
John Lloyd Young, who played Frankie Valli in the musical on Broadway, reprises his role as the legendary lead singer for the film adaptation.
Erich Bergen stars as Bob Gaudio, who wrote all the group's biggest hits, with Michael Lomenda and Vincent Piazza playing Nick Massi and Tommy DeVito, two original members of The Four Seasons.
Christopher Walken ( The Deer Hunter, Catch Me If You Can) stars as mobster Angelo 'Gyp' DeCarlo, a member of the New York Genovese crime family who dominated loansharking operations in New Jersey during the Sixties.
The film is due for release in the US and UK on 20 June.
