Depp, Stewart and 'Twilight' lead People's Choice winners

Kicking off awards season on January 5, the People's Choice Awards presented awards to fan favorites in film, television and music, with Queen Latifah hosting the live telecast from Los Angeles.

More than 175 million votes were cast for the online polls with The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and House topping the awards with four trophies each.

Voted last year's "Actor of the Decade," Johnny Depp received a standing ovation as the 2011 Favorite Movie Actor for his roles in Alice and Wonderland and The Tourist.

Kristen Stewart was voted Favorite Movie Actress and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was chosen as Favorite Movie, and she along with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner got the ensemble trophy.

Favorite Comedic Star was Adam Sandler, and his film Grown Ups won Favorite Comedy. Jackie Chan took Favorite Action Star, and Toy Story 3 was the Favorite Family Movie.

In the music category, Katy Perry took Favorite Female Artist as well as Favorite Online Sensation. Taylor Swift was selected Favorite Country Star and Rihanna won for Pop Artist, Favorite Song and Music Video. Eminem took four prizes including Favorite Hip-Hop Artist and Usher was named Favorite R&B Artist.

With television votes, Glee won Favorite TV Comedy with Jane Lynch winning Favorite TV Comedy Actress. House won honors as Favorite TV Drama with Hugh Laurie receiving Favorite TV Doctor and Lisa Edelstein as Favorite TV Dramatic Actress.
