Zac Efron ( Me and Orson Welles, High School Musical) will star in the Hollywood remake of Snabba Cash (which means "easy money"), the hit Swedish film about a money launderer.

Efron will also produce it. Based on a novel by Jens Lapidus, the thriller follows a young man who hopes to strike it rich quickly by becoming a runner for a drug dealer.

Efron is seen next in Charlie St. Cloud with Kim Basinger, directed by Burr Steers ( 17 Again) about a young man grieving the death of his brother.
