A seven and a half minute clip of Trent Reznor's score for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo has been tweeted and posted online on Sound Cloud.

Reznor and Atticus Ross, who shared the Oscar for David Fincher's The Social Network, pair up again with the director for the scoring of the American remake of the first book in Stieg Larsson's bestselling trilogy of novels.

The eerie yet beautiful snippet draws from Reznor's industrial sounds from his Nine Inch Nails days, eerie and minimalist, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, starring Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara ( The Social Network), Christopher Plummer ( Beginners) and Stellan Skarsgard ( Thor), releases December 21 in North America and Scandinavian countries and follows in other markets in January.
