Watch: Trailer for Ridley Scott's new thriller The Counselor

The full trailer for Ridley Scott’s thriller The Counselor was released today, showing a glimpse of what to expect from the screenplay written by Cormac McCarthy.

Its star cast, which includes Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz, follows the plot of a lawyer (Fassbender) who enters the world of drug trafficking.

Fassbender's character, who lives an unwinding glamorous lifestyle, finds himself in over his head with trouble.

Cruz’s line at the end of the trailer “Have you been bad?” is already trending on Twitter.

The Counselor is released on 25 October
