Just released, the first trailer for one of this year's 3D films is a contemporary remake of the classic ‘Gulliver's Travels' tale by Jonathan Swift. In this version, Jack Black (Kung Fu Panda, Tropic Thunder) stars in the title role of this comedy fantasy adventure.

Black plays a mailroom clerk who pretends to be a travel writer in an attempt to get the girl. Instead, he mistakenly gets an assignment in Bermuda. When a storm rages, he washes ashore the hidden island of Liliput where its tiny citizens protect themselves against the giant intruder. Soon, Gulliver learns that size doesn't matter as much as what is inside.

Co-stars Emily Blunt (Young Victoria), Billy Connelly (X-Files: I Want to Believe), Jason Seigel (I Love You, Man), and Amanda Peet (2012). The film is directed by Rob Letterman (Monsters vs Aliens) and arrives in theaters December 22.
