The international version of the trailer for The Other Guys has just been released, showing co-stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg bumbling through this action-adventure cop comedy. The film also features Dwayne Johnson ( Race to Witch Mountain) and Samuel L. Jackson ( Iron Man 2) as superstar detectives.
The story follows a mismatched pair of paper-pushing policemen who stumble onto a major case that could be an opportunity to prove they're top cops-or not. Surprises are in store when things don't quite go as planned. Also stars Eva Mendes ( Ghost Rider), who plays the wife of Ferrell's hapless character.
The film is directed by actor/producer and co-writer Adam McKay, who has worked with Ferrell on Anchorman, Talladega Nights and The Step Brothers.
The Other Guys releases in the US on August 6 but opens throughout the world, from Asia and Europe to the Middle East/Africa and Latin America, in September and October. Argentina, Italy, South Africa, and Taiwan follow in November.
