The Screen Actors Guild Awards have honored the best performances in TV and film from the past year.

This year’s ceremony welcomed back actor Kristen Bell as host. She became the first-ever host of the SAG Awards in 2018. Bell, 44, was also nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series category this year for her starring role in Netflix’s hit rom-com Nobody Wants This. The category, however, went to Hacks star Jean Smart.

The winners were voted on by the thousands of active SAG-AFTRA union members, making it the only major awards show to be determined entirely by actors’ peers.

Jon M. Chu’s hit Wicked musical adaptation led the film nominees with five nods, though it went home empty-handed.

Instead, the big film winners of the night included Timothée Chalamet, who won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his role in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, and Demi Moore, who won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her role in the body horror The Substance.

The cast of the papel thriller Conclave took home the win for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Meanwhile, FX’s historical drama Shōgun triumphed in the television categories, winning five awards, including Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
