Jackanackanory! A poster for the much-awaited Alan Partridge movie, Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa, was released to the delight of braying Alanites.

Thanks to a teaser trailer released a few weeks ago, and featuring Partridge (Steve Coogan) and Sidekick Simon (The Independent Magazine’s Tim Key), we already know the film’s plot (a siege at a radio station) and potential titles (“Gunbird”, “Chap of Steel” and “Colossal Velocity”).

This new poster, which shows a bullet fired through a mid-morning radio host’s branded cup, suggests that the siege of North Norfolk might be more gruesome than a Toblerone-fuelled barefoot drive to Dundee...
