Ant-Man teaser trailer: Marvel releases preview starring Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly
Marvel initially teased fans with an 'ant-sized' version of the preview trailer

Marvel has released a “human-sized” teaser trailer for the upcoming superhero film Ant-Man, ahead of the full trailer premiere next week.
Fans of Ant-Man were left irate when Marvel cheekily unveiled an “ant-sized” version of the teaser a couple of days ago. The frame was so small that viewers were left squinting in an attempt to make out what was happening on the tiny screen.
Luckily, yesterday Marvel released a normal-sized version that didn’t require a magnifying glass to watch it.
The 17-second trailer offers up some dramatic shots from the superhero flick. In one of them we see a stubbly and slightly battered Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, walking with two police officers.
In another we see Hope Van Dyne, played by Lost’s Evangeline Lilly, walking through a laboratory holding something. She also appears later on in a shot where she is martial arts training.
In the final shot we see the legs of Ant-Man as he runs through a house.
The film will follow thief Scott Lang as he helps to protect the Ant-Man technology created by his mentor Dr. Hank Pym from new threats. The technology allows a person to decrease in size but increase their strength.
Ant-Man is directed by Peyton Reed and stars Michael Douglas as Dr Pym, Michael Peña and Judy Greer.
The full trailer for Ant-Man will be available from Wednesday 7 January at 2am in the UK and the film is due to be released in cinemas on 17 July.
