**Possible spoilers for Avengers 4 ahead**
Despite having died in Captain America: Civil War, Frank Grillo has revealed that Crossbones will be back for the untitled upcoming superhero sequel.
Grillo said that that character will ”make an appearance in the next Avengers“ while on the UFC Unfiltered podcast, revealing the deceased villain will return thanks to a series of flashbacks.
As to why Grillo was not afraid of potentially falling out of favour with Marvel, he added: “I’m allowed to say whatever I want because I’m never doing another Marvel movie.”
