Avengers: Endgame: Chris Pratt shares 'illegal' behind-the-scenes look at major scene

A newly released scene from Avengers: Endgame has revealed the fate of one of the film’s heroes during an particularly emotional moment.

One of the biggest questions among fans after the credits rolled regarded the fate of Gamora (Zoe Saldana) who was killed off in Infinity War, with a 2014 version of the character returning in Endgame.

However, after the Avengers defeated Thanos, it was unclear what had happened to her – although Peter Quill/Star Lord was pictured looking at a photo of her before he, Thor and the rest of the team boarded a ship (many fans believe they were on a mission to find Gamora).

The Russo brothers joked during promo for Endgame that they had yet to decide whether Gamora was alive or dead.

“That’s probably a question that Guardians[3] will answer,” Joe Russo told Business Insider. “We’ve done our job.”

However, the newly revealed deleted scene, which forms part of the bonus features for Endgame’s DVD release, shows that Gamora is in fact alive in the moments after Tony Stark’s death.

One by one, the Avengers take a knee in tribute to Iron Man after learning of his fate – apart from Gamora, who walks away.

Endgame has become the highest-grossing box office release of all time, surpassing 2009’s Avatar.
