Bill Pullman accidentally breaks lifetime achievement award during acceptance speech
The Independence Day star was being honoured by the Woodstock Film Festival

Film star Bill Pullman broke a trophy he was awarded during a riotous acceptance speech.
The actor, whose credits include Independence Day and Sleepless in Seattle, was accepting an Excellence in Acting award at the Woodstock Film Festival when he knocked the trophy on stage.
His award came crashing to the floor as he tried to climb onto the lectern during his speech - it was handed back to the 63-year-old in two pieces.
Pullman quipped: “I got two awards tonight” to laughter from the crowd. The award was later repaired.
Meira Blaustein, Woodstock Film Festival executive director, branded Pullman “one of the finest and most versatile actors“ working today going on to describe his performance in new western The Ballad Of Lefty Brown as “absolutely outstanding”.
Pullman's next film is the forthcoming tennis biopic Battle of the Sexes alongside Emma Stone and Steve Carell.
