Chris Evans freaks out as Jeremy Irons drops f-bomb live on BBC Radio 2
The High-Rise star is the latest actor to fall victim to the on-air slip-up

Jeremy Irons was probably the last person Chris Evans expected to ruffle feathers on his BBC Radio 2 show this week, but thanks to the deployment of an f-bomb, he's been proved extremely wrong.
The British actor was on Evans' morning show promoting new Ben Wheatley film High-Rise on Friday (18 March) and proceeded to share an anecdote involving fellow thespian John Hurt and he discovering new actors.
"And he said, 'You know what I do when I find a good actor? I say to him, 'You have a wonderful voice. Have you ever listened to it?' And the actor is f**ked," Irons blurted.
"You can't say that on the BBC!" protested Evans.
Ever the gentlemen, Irons apologised, saying: "It's so relaxed here, I'm so normal."
Opting to take a time out from answering questions, the actor allowed Evans to pass the mic over to Tim Booth, the lead singer of James, who had a question for Irons. Another member of the band then pondered whether it was "What does it feel like to have brought Radio 2 to its knees?"
Having previously claimed they were not to make light of the situation, Evans said: "No seriously, we can't make fun of it - you've got to stop."
This comes at the tail-end of another erratic week for the future Top Gear presenter who was forced to make a public apology after he shared pictures of the crew filming near the cenotaph.
Irons will also star in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice playing the role of Bruce Wayne's butler Alfred Pennyworth. The film is released next Friday (25 March).
