Chris Evans has addressed an accidental nude photo leak in his first TV interview since the incident.

The actor was asked about the blunder on Tuesday during a remote appearance on Tamron Hall’s namesake talk show.

“It was an interesting weekend,” Evans said, “full of lessons learned, lots of teachable moments.”

He added: “Things happen. It’s embarrassing. You’ve got to roll with the punches.”

The Marvel star thanked his fans for the ways in which they have supported him over the past few days.

Evans accidentally shared an explicit photo on social media on Saturday, while attempting to post a screen recording on his Instagram Story. The image was promptly removed from the account.

On Tuesday, Evans broke his silence on social media, by using the mishap as a chance to urge Americans to vote in the upcoming presidential election.

“Now that I have your attention… VOTE [on 3 November]!!!" he tweeted.

On Hall’s show, Evans referred to that initiative as “turning a frown upside down”.
