Chris Rock may not be boycotting the Oscars but that doesn’t mean he won’t be acknowledging the fact that, for the second year in a row, every actor nominated for an award is white.

It has been revealed by the Academy Awards producer that the comedian will definitely be talking about #OscarsSoWhite, a controversy that has dominated recent interviews with film stars.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Reginald Hudlin stressed the ceremony will continue with Rock hosting, adding that the previously finished script will be rewritten to poke fun at the Academy.

“You should expect [#OscarsSoWhite jokes],” Hudlin told ET.

“And, yes, the Academy is ready for him to do that. They’re excited about him doing that. They know that’s what we need. They know that’s what the public wants, and we deliver what the people want.”

When confronted with questions about the Oscars after leaving a night club by TMZ, Rock remained silent about still hosting.

Actors who have commented on the controversy include Danny DeVito, Jada Smith and Reese Witherspoon.

Meanwhile, SNL poked fun at the controversy in a brilliant sketch over the weekend.
