Corey Feldman launches campaign to expose Hollywood paedophile ring

Corey Feldman claims he's being targeted for death because of his efforts to expose a paedophile ring in Hollywood.

The former child star, who revealed details about industry sex abuse in 2013 memoir Coreyography, has alleged that he survived what he describes as a “near-death experience” after two trucks tried to run him over following an emotional Twitter video in which he reveals plans to make a movie about his accusations of sexual assault when The Goonies actor was a young star.

In the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, Feldman has faced pressure to reveal the names of the guilty parties - one of which he claims raped co-star Corey Haim at the age of 11 - and has now confirmed plans to bring down a paedophile ring by directing, producing and self-distributing the “most honest and true depiction of child abuse ever portrayed.”

“Right off the bat I can name six names,” Feldman claimed, “one of them who's still very powerful today.” He also said he can show a link between paedophilia and one of the major studios.

Feldman - whose credits include Stand by Me and The Lost Boys - has started an Indiegogo campaign for $10 million that will be used for a legal team and security for him and his family, he said, plus funds to create the film. The campaign has reportedly earned more than $90,000 of its goal of $10,000. Feldman’s wife, Courtney, suggests the money is to ensure their safety after certain events have left him paranoid he's being targeted.

His band's tour bus was pulled over for speeding Saturday night (21 October). After police officers detected marijuana, he and his crew were taken to a station where they were charged with a misdemeanour for possession and paid a simple fine - something Feldman conspiratorially questioned the timing of.

“It's not easy,” Feldman said in the video. “I've been degraded at great levels. Rumours have been told, stories have been made up about me... all because they fear what I know.”

“Justice will be served,” he promised. “Because this is about good and evil.”
