Jack Black makes TikTok debut

Jack Black has shared his first video on TikTok, in which he performs a “Quarantine Dance” dressed in a cowboy hat, boots and a pair of black shorts.

The actor and musician joined the social media platform, along with a number of others who have found it to be a source of entertainment during the coronavirus lockdown.

In what appears to be his garden, Black performs a series of bizarre moves including spins, high-kicks and jumps.

The video, which has more than 265,000 likes, was captioned: “reallifeathome #distancedance #happyathome #boredathome.”

“A new dance trend is born,” one viewer joked.

Celebrities have been doing their best to lift fans’ spirits during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Musicians including Charli XCX, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Bastille’s Dan Smith and Christine and the Queens have live-streamed performance from their homes.

Others, including Larry David and Ryan Reynolds, have issued amusing public service announcements to encourage fans to practise social distancing.
