“You’re just one bad day away from being me,” says Punisher to Matt Murdoch. Rather than being a straight-forward villain, Bernthal’s character looks set to tempt Charlie Cox’s titular hero into becoming the killer he fears. Also returning in the trailer is Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page and Elden Henson as Foggy.
Daredevil season 2 follows on from the events of the first, while also coming after Jessica Jones, Marvel’s other Netflix series which featured the character Claire Temple, played by Rosario Dawson.
The series will reach Netflix worldwide on the 25 March.
