Dick Van Dyke sings impromptu rendition of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, almost 50 years after film's release
The 90-year-old still sounds great

Almost 50 years on and Dick Van Dyke can still perform a fantastic version of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”.
The 90-year-old was dining out in Santa Monica, California when the legendary actor performed an impromptu rendition of the song with three other men.
Posting a video of the performance on Facebook, Van Dyke added the caption: “Breakfast at Denny's, with a side of grits makes me want to sing!”
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - which co-starred Sally Ann Howes, Robert Helpmann, and Benny Hill - was released in 1968 and is a loose adaptation of the book of the same name by James Bond author Ian Fleming.
Last year, Van Dyke starred in the award-winning short film Merry Xmas in which he plays a father getting divorced during the holiday period. The pair’s children - played by Matthew Modine and Glenne Headly - race home to prevent the break-up.
The actor is also rumoured to feature in the upcoming remake of Marry Poppins, starring Emily Blunt as the titular character.
