The sequel brings a cavalcade of action movie legends including Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford, with the trailer flicking through each of them in various stages of blowing things up.
The tagline suggest this may be the last Expendables outing though, in spite of Pierce Brosnan recently claiming he is in talks for another sequel.
It may be that the franchise takes a break for a while, or re-boots around a different set of mercenaries.
Wesley Snipes, Kelsey Grammer, Antonio Banderas, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Jet Li and Randy Couture also star in the movie, which is directed by Patrick Hughes and sees the small army go up against their founder.
The Expendables 3 has a UK cinema release date of August 15.
