Glass trailer: New M Night Shyamalan movie features star-studded lineup
The film acts as a sequel to both 2000's Unbreakable and 2016's Split
A new trailer for Glass has promised an epic stand-off within M Night Shyamalan's own cinematic universe.
The film acts as a sequel to both 2000's Unbreakable and 2016's Split, and sees Bruce Willis's David Dunn, who possesses superhuman strength and stamina, face off against his rival Mr Glass (Samuel L Jackson).
The latter seeks the aid of Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy), a man suffering from dissociative identity disorder who possess 23 personalities, with an ominous 24th known only as "The Beast".
Also featured is Anya Taylor-Joy, who previously appeared in Split, and Sarah Paulson playing psychiatrist Dr Ellie Staple, a new character to the series.
Before Split reached cinemas, there was no public acknowledgement that the movie was a standalone sequel to Unbreakable, which was released 16 years previously.
With Glass, the three movies form the Eastrail 177 trilogy. Both previous instalments have been met with positive reviews.
