If one thing's for sure it's that the Avengers: Infinity War cast list does not need to get any bigger. Well, it has. Added to the crop of Marvel characters who will be appearing in the upcoming sequel is a villain from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.
Nebula - played by former Doctor Who actor Karen Gillan - will be showing up. It was Gillan herself who confirmed the news, stating simply in a BBC profile : "I’ll be making a little appearance in the next Avengers movies."
Note the plural - it looks like Nebula will be appearing in both Infinity War as well as the planned fourth Avengers film alongside pretty much everyone who has shown up in a Marvel property at some stage in the last 8 years (you can find the extensive yet unconfirmed cast list here ).
Karen Gillan as Nebula (Marvel) The film will mark the first time the world of Gillan's Guardians co-stars will collide with the Avengers with Chris Pratt (Peter Quill AKA Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Bradley Cooper (Rocket Racoon), Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer) and Vin Diesel (Groot) all seemingly confirmed to appear.
We interviewed directing duo the Russo Brothers who described their film as "a culmination of everything that's happened in the Marvel Cinematic Universe."
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 - Trailer 2 Villainess Nebula - the sister of Gamora and adopted daughter of Thanos (Josh Brolin) - will next be seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 which is released 28 April 2017.
