The Invisible Man - Trailer

The Invisible Man actors Elisabeth Moss and Oliver Jackson-Cohen were pranked during the press junket for the new film.

Both appear in the new science-fiction horror from Saw and Upgrade writer-director Leigh Whannel, which is getting rave reviews from critics.

Serving as a contemporary adaptation of the classic HG Wells novel, this version follows a woman who believes she is being haunted by her abusive partner, despite the fact he’s apparently dead.

Moss, Jackson-Cohen – best known for Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House – and journalists prepping to interview the pair were paid a visit by an invisible presence as they prepared for the interview.

A new video released by the film’s official Twitter account shows a handful of people responding as items around them fly into the air or fall to the ground.

Journalists can be seen sitting uncomfortably waiting for the actors to enter the room as the prank begins.

It ends with a “figure” emerging from a curtain, which sees one interviewer bolt out of the room.

Moss herself seems most terrified of all, screaming and grabbing the arm of her laughing co-star.

The Invisible Man is released in cinemas on 28 February.
