Jennifer Lawrence has lent her voice to a burgeoning movement to identify the white supremacists involved in the violent Charlottesville rally over the weekend.

One of the most frightening aspects of the rally was the fact the men involved seemed to show no hesitation in openly and visibly attaching themselves to a hate movement, so activists are identifying individuals to remind them that their actions aren't without consequence.

Several social media accounts have been working carefully to gather verified information in this regard, including @YesYoureRacist. Cole White, one of the individuals photographed, has since been fired from his job at a restaurant in Berkeley, California.

"Effective Saturday 12th August, Cole White no longer works at Top Dog," a sign on the fast-food restaurant's door currently reads. "The actions of those in Charlottesville are not supported by Top Dog. We believe in individual freedom and voluntary association for everyone."

Lawrence posted several images from the rally on Facebook, her only public social media account, with the caption: "These are the faces of hate. Look closely and post anyone you find. You can't hide with the internet you pathetic cowards!"

Though identification has been easy for some individuals, since many attending have already boasted about the fact on their social media pages, the movement has seen risks. One individual has already been wrongly identified, with his social media pages flooded with abuse.
