Last Christmas trailer: Festive romcom stars Emilia Clarke in first post-Game of Thrones role

The trailer has been released for Last Christmas, a romantic comedy inspired by and featuring the music of Wham!
The film stars Emilia Clarke, best known for Game of Thrones, and Crazy Rich Asians’ Henry Golding in the lead roles.
Last Christmas tells the story of Kate (Clarke), who works year-round as an elf in a Christmas shop, and Tom (Golding), an all-round good guy who could be the man to finally break down Kate’s barriers.
The film was written by Emma Thompson, who was also a writer for Bridget Jones’ Baby and Nanny McPhee, and Bryony Kimmings. It has been Directed by Paul Feig, whose previous work includes Bridesmaids and the controversial 2016 all-female reboot of Ghostbusters, which received mixed reviews.
The Independent previously reported the film would feature a previously unreleased George Michael song, which was to be included on the album the star was working on before his untimely death.
The film will be released on 8 November in the US and 15 November in the UK.
