Little baby RocknRoll: Kate Winslet announces she is pregnant with her third child

Oscar-winning British actress Kate Winslet has confirmed she is pregnant with her third child.

It will be her first baby with new husband, Ned RocknRoll, who is Virgin boss Richard Branson’s nephew.

Winslet’s publicist Sara Keene said: "I can confirm Kate Winslet is pregnant and she and Ned RocknRoll are thrilled.”

"The baby is due at the end of the year."

Winslet, 37, and RocknRoll,, 34, met two years ago and the couple married in New York in December 2012.

Earlier this year the pair were granted a High Court injunction preventing The Sun newspaper from publishing a semi-naked photograph of RocknRoll.

Titanic star Winslet has two children from her previous marriages. Mia, 12, is from her relationship with director Jim Threapleton whom she married in 1998 and from whom she divorced in 2001.

Joe, 9, is from her marriage to Skyfall director Sam Mendes. The couple married in 2003 and split in 2010.

Winslet won an Oscar for The Reader in 2008 in which she played a former Nazi prison guard.

She had previously garnered two Academy Award nominations, the first for portrayal of Marianne Dashwood in Sense and Sensibility; the second for her role as Rose DeWitt Bukater in 1997 blockbuster Titanic in which she co-starred with Leonardo DiCaprio.
