A brand new image teases two new characters from Finding Dory, the sequel to Pixar's beloved 2003 animation Finding Nemo

Our favourite forgetful fish Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) will be sure to find new friends in her journey across the oceans to reunite with her loved ones. Entertainment Weekly has now offered a first glimpse at two of those new characters and, boy, are they adorable.

The memory-challenged Dory will likely find affinity with these two and their own issues, though the pair apparently don't get on so well. Ty Burrell voices beluga whale Bailey (the small one), who struggles with his sonar capabilities. Kaitlin Olson voices whale shark Destiny (the big one), who just can't seem to swim straight.

"We totally get on each other's nerves," Olson told EW of the characters, "I like to think I'm a shark, but Bailey calls me a whale, and I make fun of his head, because it’s gigantic."

Burrell's best known for his role as the strained patriarch of TV's Modern Family, and Olson stars in the sitcom Always Sunny in Philadelphia. They'll be joined by the likes of Albert Brooks, Diane Keaton, Idris Elba, Dominic West, and Eugene Levy.

Finding Dory hits UK theatres 29 July.
