Millie Bobby Brown’s Godzilla vs Kong co-stars have opened up about some of the actor’s unusual on-set behaviour.

Brown, who first rose to fame in the Netflix sci-fi series Stranger Things, will star in the new blockbuster sequel, reprising the role of Madison Russell from 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Speaking to Metro, actors Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta) and Julian Dennison (Hunt for the Wilderpeople) claimed that Brown would sing in-between takes – and sometimes imitate a dog.

“In between takes, [we] would literally sing our hearts out. It was a lot of fun,” said Henry. “She also likes to bark.”

Dennison, who plays Josh Valentine in the film, said: “I don’t know if that was like a moment for her, like a period of a time where she was just into barking.

“But she would just bark like before a take, if she needed energy, she would just go, ‘woof, woof, woof, woof,’” he continued, adding:  “I’ve seen a lot worse from actors.”

Godzilla vs Kong is a sequel to King of the Monsters as well as 2017’s Kong: Skull Island, and forms part of Warner Bros’ ongoing MonsterVerse franchise.

It will be released in the UK digitally from 1 April.
