Olivia Colman and Rachel Weisz say 'Gay Rights' at the BAFTAs

Rachel Weisz says she finds being an older mother more tiring as she doesn’t have quite as much energy anymore.

The 50-year-old actor welcomed a baby girl with husband Daniel Craig back in 2018 at the age of 48.

The Deep Blue Sea actor also has a 13-year-old son Henry whom she shares with ex Darren Aronofksy.

“I’m more tired than I was last time, this car has more miles on it,” Weisz – who has never revealed her daughter’s name publicly – said.

“But I’m really having fun, I’m really enjoying it, it’s a real blessing.”

She told Harper’s Bazaar: “We tried to go for a walk yesterday, and I had a plan about where we were going to go, but we only made it two metres, because first there was an interesting stick, and then we discovered a moth.

“So we didn’t go anywhere at all. I’m just more flexible, I think.”

In 2018, after the birth of her daughter, Weisz announced that she wasn’t planning on having any more kids.

“I definitely know there won’t be another one,” she told The Mirror at the time. “When I had my son I thought I’d have maybe two or three more.

“But the preciousness of a new life and family means so much more now I’m more mature and older. She continued: “My son was a miracle and it was an incredible experience.”

In March, Craig revealed he won’t be leaving a single penny of his $125m fortune (£108m) to his children when he dies, as he finds the idea of inheritance “distasteful”.

The actor, whose final James Bond film has been delayed because of the coronavirus, added: “My philosophy is to get rid of it or give it away before you go.”
