Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood to score There Will Be Blood live for the first time in London

Orchestra will score film live at screening

Camden's Roundhouse will serve up a night of gloriously oppressive sonic dread on 6 and 7 August, when Jonny Greenwood and the London Contemporary Orchestra live score Paul Thomas Anderson's There Will Be Blood.

The musician will join the orchestra on stage for the performance, playing the Ondes Martenot part from the soundtrack.

The concert screenings, conducted by Hugh Brunt, will take place across two nights and form part of the Roundhouse Summer Sessions, which also features sets from Chilly Gonzales and Kid Koala and closes with Reverb, a weekend of music curated by Imogen Heap.

There Will Be Blood stars Daniel Day Lewis as a callous, greedy oil baron and features in our list of the best films streaming on Netflix.

Greenwood will collaborate with PTA once more on his next movie Inherent Vice, a dark comedy about a private investigator investigating the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend in Los Angeles.
