Razzies 2016: Oscar-nominee Eddie Redmayne scoops award as 50 Shades of Grey 'wins' big
The awards celebrate the worst in film

While everyone is very excited to see if Leonardo DiCaprio has finally won an Oscar, one of his competitors will be less than thrilled with a different award he has been ‘honoured’ with.
Eddie Redmayne, who is up for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Oscars for his portrayal of Lili Elbe in The Danish Girl, has won a Golden Raspberry award for his part in Jupiter Ascending, the critically panned Space Opera also starring Sean Bean and Mila Kunis.
The big ‘winner’ of the night - which celebrates the worst in film - was 50 Shades of Grey, which took home five awards: worst picture (tied with Fantastic Four), worst actress (Dakota Johnson), worst actor (Jamie Dornan), worst screenplay and worst couple/ensemble.
Coming in a close second was Fox’s Fantastic Four, which - along with worst picture - won worst director (Josh Trank, who notoriously Tweeted before the movie came out he was not happy with the end product), and worst prequel/sequel.
Kaley Cuoco, of Big Bang Theory fame, won the worst supporting actress award for The Wedding Ringer, while Sylvester Stallone was honoured with the Redeemer Award for his reprisal of Rocky in Creed.
Meanwhile, the Oscars, which takes place in LA’s Dolby Theatre, just across the road from where the Razzies took place, kicks off tonight, with The Revenant expected to sweep up numerous awards. Wondering where to watch the awards? Well, here’s everything you need to know about the Oscars.
