American actress Scarlett Johansson joined Hollywood's brightest stars on the Walk of Fame in Los Angeles yesterday as she was awarded her own plaque.

Ms Johansson, 27, who stars in "Marvel Avengers Assemble", received the 2,470th star on the celebrated pavement.

"When I was told I was getting this star, I thought to myself, man, I really made it to the big time," she said.
