Jon Favreau may be supremely busy working on Disney’s live-action adaptation of Lion King, but that hasn’t stopped the director/actor finding time for a small cameo.

Ron Howard has confirmed Favreau will have a small but important role in Solo: A Star Wars Story, the upcoming movie about Han Solo’s origins.

“Wondering why we are all together?” Howard wrote on Twitter, replying to an image Favrea posted of himself, Howard, and Star Wars writer Lawrence Kasdan.

“Jon Favreau is voicing a very cool and important alien character for Han Solo. Flattered and fortunate I could pull him away from his Lion King directing duties.”

Neither filmmaker has shared any further details about the role — considering how secretive Disney and LucasFilm are being about Solo, we probably shouldn’t expect any for some time.

Meanwhile, the cast of Lion King was recently announced, with Donald Glover — who also plays Lando Calrissian in Solo — voicing Simba.

The first trailer for Solo was also made available online recently, which you can watch here.
