Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer

The first reactions to Spider-Man: Far From Home have swung in.

Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker for his second standalone outing, which will serve as a direct sequel to Avengers: Endgame.

Considered the final chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s third phase, the film will see the webslinger coming to terms with the death of you-know-who with the help of Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau).

His path soon crosses with that of beloved comic book character Mysterio who’s played by Jake Gyllenhaal. Also starring in the film is Samuel L Jackson, Cobie Smulders and Zendaya who returns as MJ.

Below are the first reactions from a special screening that took place for journalists in the UK.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is released in the UK on 2 July.
