Spike Lee has been videoed celebrating after Joe Biden was declared the 46th president of America.

Biden beat Donald Trump in what became an extremely tight presidential election race, and was declared the winner after he gained the most votes in Pennsylvania.

Many celebrities are reacting with happiness, but no one seem more energetic than the Do the Right Thing filmmaker.

A video is circulating on Twitter showing the BlacKkKlansman director jumping for joy in Brooklyn, New York as he cracks open a bottle of champagne surrounded by other whooping Democrats.

It is worth highlighting that everybody in the video, Lee included, is wearing a facemask.

While unconfirmed, Twitter user @breezyblink says the precise location could be outside Lee's production company, 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene.

Other celebrities have been posting messages congratulating Biden and his vice president, Kamala Harris.
