SpongeBob dubbed with Pulp Fiction dialogue is perfectly executed, NSFW

'I don't need you to tell me how f*cking good my coffee is, okay.'

Over the past couple of years, 'Spongepulp Fictionpants' has slowly amassed almost 2.5 million views, a surprisingly effective collision of a regular day on Bikini Bottom and a crisis in a Tarantino movie.

SpongeBob is Jimmie in the mash-up, while Patrick channels Samuel L. Jackson’s Jules, as the pair perform a snippet of the infamous ‘dead n***** storage’ scene.

Bad Lip Reading writing dialogue to match existing scenes was one thing, but making a concrete set of dialogue match a concrete animation is another - and yet SpongeBob and Patrick really do look like they’re having a conversation about a dead man in a garage, and SpongeBob’s expressions are just perfect.

The language is obviously NSFW, as director Quentin Tarantino has never shied away from using the N-word.

Last week, he told Bret Easton Ellis in a New York Times interview of race in his films: “The bad taste that was left in my mouth had to do with this: it’s been a long time since the subject of a writer’s skin was mentioned as often as mine.

“You wouldn’t think the color of a writer’s skin should have any effect on the words themselves. In a lot of the more ugly pieces my motives were really brought to bear in the most negative way. It’s like I’m some supervillain coming up with this stuff.’’

The director added that he thinks it is important not to shy away from these topics, particularly in the current climate.

“This is the best time to push buttons,’’ he added. ‘‘This is the best time to get out there because there actually is a genuine platform. Now it’s being talked about.’’
