With another series of Star Trek: Discovery on the way and Quentin Tarantino reportedly working on a Star Trek
Speaking at CinemaCon, Paramount chainman Jim Gianopulos said two Star Trek movies are currently in the works.
While no further details were given, one of the Star Trek movies is presumably the Tarantino feature, which already has a writer (The Revenant ‘s Mark L. Smith) and producer (JJ Abrams).
Paramount also previously announced a sequel to Star Trek Beyond , which would feature Chris Pine’s James T. Kirk meeting his father, played by Chris Hemsworth.
