Star Wars: The Force Awakens: New photos reveal possible plot details after fans notice a certain leather jacket swapping hands
Poe presumably gives the jacket to Finn at the beginning of the film
As we approach the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, more and more information regarding the film's plot is emerging online.
While JJ Abrams may want to keep absolutely everything top secret, after two trailers (not including the Japanese one), numerous posters and lots of press photos, fans have a lot to work with.
Entertainment Weekly’s new issue features a number of previously unseen shots from the set, but two particular photos have got people talking and they both feature a certain leather jacket.
In the first photo we see John Boyega’s character, Finn, in Storm Trooper uniform holding Oscar Isaac’s Poe in futuristic handcuffs.

It is generally thought the first shot is earlier on in the film, with Finn having rescued Poe from the First Order having decided to change sides. He presumably escapes to Jakku where he meets Daisy Ridley’s Rey while Poe either gets captured again to be tortured by Kylo Ren or escapes.
There are also some other shots from the cover shoot, including one of Adam Driver’s character without a helmet (still looking away from the camera, however) facing Rey and Finn.
Another shows Harrison Ford’s Han Solo, Chewbacca and Finn getting captured.
It has been revealed Star Wars: The Force Awakens will miss awards season in an attempt to prevent spoilers leaking. Earlier this month a rough cut of the film was shown to mega-fan Daniel Fleetwood, who died days later.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives in UK cinemas on 17 December.
