Justice League - Trailer 2

Although Ezra Miller is busy promoting his latest role, in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, the question of his other major franchise role has inevitably come up.

The actor plays The Flash, Barry Allen, in the DC Extended Universe, having appeared in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, and Justice League. However, he's yet to star in his own solo film, which has been delayed numerous times.

With filming now pushed back to allow Miller to shoot the third Fantastic Beasts, he told Playboy: “Nothing is ever certain in this world, but as certain as things get, we’re making a f****** crazy-dope Flash movie,”

“It’s one of my great life dreams, and just the fact that we’re on the way—anyone who knows about Barry Allen knows he may arrive late, very late, but once he gets there, it’s all solved. We have to trust.”

The film has already gained and lost two directors in Seth Grahame-Smith and Rick Famuyiwa, who both departed due to creative differences.

A release date has yet to be announced, since the project isn't officially greenlit, although it's reported the film is slated for 2021.

Miller was also asked about the rumours that Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck may leave their roles as Superman and Batman, respectively. The actor said: "When there are these leaks of information—or however people get stuff—it’s pretty unreliable."
