The Princess Diaries 3 could become a reality with or without Anne Hathaway
Disney is reportedly considering making a third follow-up to the 2001 classic

Prepare to feel 12-years-old all over again as Disney is reportedly developing a third movie in the much-loved Princess Diaries franchise.
The family romcom, based on Meg Cabot's novel of the same name, rocketed Anne Hathaway to Hollywood stardom back in 2001 when it grossed a massive $165 million worldwide.
The US actress played ordinary teenager Mia Thermopolis, who finds out that she is heir to the Kingdom of Genovia and granddaughter to the Queen Dowager (Julie Andrews).
A sequel followed and now, Cabot has written a new book in the series and it's hopefully heading for the big screen, Tracking Board reports.
It remains in doubt whether Hathaway would return for a threquel after Andrews said in 2012 that she would "never say no because Disney's so wonderfully clever and inventive but they'll [probably] stay with just the two because of Annie".
It is not yet known whether The Princess Diaries 3 will ever become a reality but we're hoping to hear official confirmation soon. There may well be a full reboot with new actors as Cabot's work is packed with unused material to draw from - nine volumes in fact.
Tiaras at the ready girls.
